DEFINITOIN OF PRAKRITI
Constitution (Prakriti) is a non-pathological humoral (dosha) status, which is inherent in the individual from beginning to death, which becomes distinct since the time of fertilization, mediated by maternal and paternal activities.
FACTORS DETERMINING PRAKRITI
The state of existence of Doshas in sukra and artava during their union produces certain characteristics features in an individual similar to their poison being harmless to poisonous creatures.
TYPES OF PRAKRITI
Vata Prakriti
Vata Prakriti – Said to be inferior (हीन)
Pitta Prakriti
Pitta Prakriti – Said to be moderate (मध्य)
Kapha prakriti
Kapha prakriti – Said to be Superior (उत्तम)
Vata-Pitta Prakriti
Vata-Pitta Prakriti- Said to be undesirable (निंध प्रकृति)
PItta-Kapha Prakriti

Kapha-Vata Prakriti

Sarva Dosh Prakriti – Said to be best constitution.
Kapha Prakriti
